The Bay Area Classic is one of the premier yo-yo contests in the world. The BAC started as an invitational contest and has evolved into a qualifying Regional Contest for the US National Yo-Yo Contest.

Held annually during the month of May, the BAC draws competitors from across the United States and many other countries as well.
